Biography

     My name is Audrey Blackburn and I am a senior in highschool at Wakefield School in The Plains, Viriginia. After graduation in June 2023, I will be attending Wake Forest University to study Business. Throughout elementary and middle school I was a competetive gymnast in the Junior Olympic Gymnastics program. Naturally, gymnastics has played a huge role in my life hence why I chose the Larry Nassar scandal for my senior thesis. When the scandal broke headlines I started to question my coaches, my gym, and the sport itself. This thesis is an attempt for spread awarness of this case and the multiple factors involved.
